Generali Ventures is the Italian Generali Group's strategic unit for venture capital funds. The venture capital initiative was launched to promote innovation, open up new markets and strengthen the Group's long-term competitiveness. For the first time, the Generali Group is making 250 million euros available to Generali Ventures to identify and invest in promising fintechs and insurtechs in Europe and the USA.

Generali Ventures will be given its own brand and design concept. The wordmark is based on the typeface of the corporate logo, but is designed in capitals and with a sans serif, which conveys a more technical and progressive character. The wing – taken from the Generali Group's iconic logo – is placed over the typeface like a protective hand. In addition to this protective character, the ascending line and the inclination of the wing create a visual, positive dynamic. Both points emphasise the aim of guaranteeing financial planning security and accelerating innovative strength. The strong visual connection to the umbrella brand ensures consistency and trust. The wing connected to the initial letter forms a monogram that can be used as an abbreviated sender or decorative element.
The design is based on the existing corporate design of the Generali Group, whereby the colour palette and corporate typeface (Helvetica Neue) remain identical. The use of thin typefaces, full-surface background colours or motifs and targeted white space creates contrast and gives the visual appearance a contemporary feel without losing sight of its roots.
